CastleHQ supports copyright protection and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe material on CastleHQ—such as files, posts, tasks, or other user-uploaded content—violates your copyright, submit a notice. We respond promptly to valid reports.
How to Submit a Copyright Claim
A valid DMCA notice must be in writing and contain these details:
- A physical or electronic signature from you or your authorized agent.
- Clear identification of the copyrighted material you claim is infringed (provide a representative list if multiple works).
- Specific information locating the allegedly infringing content (e.g., account details, direct link, or precise description).
- Your full contact information (mailing address, phone number, and email preferred).
- A statement of your good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

We evaluate notices and, if valid, may remove or disable access to the content while notifying the account holder.
Responding to a Takedown (Counter-Notice)
If your content was taken down and you believe it was removed in error (e.g., due to fair use or misidentification), file a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or agent's).
- Description of the removed content and its previous location on CastleHQ.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- Consent to federal court jurisdiction in the district of your address (or the Middle District of Florida if outside the U.S.), plus agreement to accept service from the original claimant or their agent.
Email counter-notices to dmca@castlehq.app. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the claimant. Content may be restored after 10-14 business days unless the claimant files a lawsuit.
Additional Notes
We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. For questions about this policy or related matters, email dmca@castlehq.app.
